Olympos

Olympos
Olympos
Olympos olymposis an ancient city which is located in a valley at the south coast of Turkey, 90 km southwest of Antalya city near the Town of Kumluca.
The chief deity of Olympos was Hephaestus, god of fire and blacksmiths. Near Olympos, located in the neighbouring village of Çıralı and about 200 meters above sea level, the eterna flames called the Chimaera may be seen issuing from the ground. The fuel source for the flames is natural gas, largely methane, seeping through cracks in the earth. The mythical Chimaera - or Chimera - was a monster with the head of a lion, the body of a goat and the tail of a serpent, who roamed these woods and sprouted fire from her mouth.
In the Middle Ages, Venetians, Genoese and Rhodians built two fortresses along the coast, but by the 15th century Olympos had been abandoned. Today the site attracts tourists, not only for the artifacts that can still be found (though fragmentary and widely scattered), but also for its scenic landscapes supporting wild grapevines, flowering oleander, bay trees, figs and pines.
When you take a Turkey travel packages it may cover  Cappadocia tours, Antalya and Olympos. These are the most popular tours of Turkey. You may join to a blue cruise from Olympos.
You may extend your Olympos  tour to Cappadocia  and joint with a well designed  Cappadocia tour packages with an arrangement of one of  local Turkey travel agencies.
You can take a Turkey tour packages and you can extend your tour of Turkey to other Turkey travel destinations. Just contact with one of Turkey travel agencies which can arrange your all Turkey tours . Travel Turkey any time of the year .

Nemrut Mountain

Nemrut Mountain
Nemrut Mountain
Many of the monuments on Mount Nemrud are ruins of the imperial cult of Commagene. The most important area to the cult was the tomb of Antiochus I, in which was decorated with colossal statues made of limestone. Although the Imperial cult did not last long after Antiochus, several of his successors had their own tombs built on Mount Nemrud. For around half of the year, Mount Nemrud lays covered in snow which in effect has increased its weathering which has in part caused the statues to fall in ruin.
In 1987, Mount Nemrut was made a World heritage site by UNESCO. Tourists typically visit Nemrut during June through August. The nearby town of Adıyaman is a popular place for car and bus trips to the site, and one can also travel from there by helicopter. There are also overnight tours running out of Malatya.
You may extend your Cappadocia tour to Nemrut tour and as a part of Nemrut tour you will have a chance to see these famous mounuments with an arrangement of one of  local Turkey travel agencies.
You can take a Turkey tour packages and you can extend your tour of Turkey to other Turkey travel destinations. Just contact with one of Turkey travel agencies which can arrange your all Turkey tours and east Turkey tours.  TravelTurkey any time of the year but  Nemrut Tour and Gobeklitepe tours are recommended in spring or summer.
